Caitlin McGinty is Head of Brands at This Machine Filmworks, where she oversees the creation of original entertainment for brand partners.
Her focus is connecting brands with visionary non-fiction storytelling, through a collaborative, access-driven approach. Grounded in TMF’s commitment to artistic excellence and deep production expertise, her work helps brands resonate with audiences through compelling storytelling.
Before joining TMF, McGinty was responsible for building and overseeing the brand division of the Emmy-winning production company Boardwalk Pictures. In partnership with Mazda, McGinty executive produced First to the Finish, a six-episode docuseries on Amazon. Throughout her tenure, she led multiple award-winning feature film collaborations with renowned brands including PepsiCo, LEGO, REI, Howard Hughes, and Anheuser-Busch, all in an executive producer capacity.
Prior to Boardwalk, she was SVP of Original Content at The Story Lab, Dentsu Aegis’ content agency. Her work included projects with IBM, and programming the L/Studio content platform for Lexus, producing projects featuring talent such as Amy Schumer, Tina Fey, Jimmy Butler and Pat McAfee.
A longtime leader in the brand-funded entertainment space, McGinty began her career as a TV development executive, bringing a broadcast and cable-informed approach that balances creative integrity, brand ethos, and audience value.
She lives in LA with her husband, two kids, and Portuguese Water Dog. She’s passionate about playing tennis whenever she can, and her ideal night out always ends with karaoke, where she sings badly – but nails every word.
