Executive Producer

Jane Cha Cutler is a Producer and Executive Producer, most recently at Cutler Productions, in joint venture with Matador Content.  In that role, she produced and developed docu-series, reality formats and feature documentaries. These include series Dear… showcasing icons such as Oprah Winfrey, Lin Manuel Miranda, Spike Lee, Stevie Wonder, Gloria Steinem, Missy Copeland and Jane Goodall for Apple TV+; upcoming feature documentaries about such personalities as Martha Stewart and Mariah Carey, and docu-series about SUPREME: Black Models, New York Times Food, K-Pop and animated series based on Grace Coddington’s Catwalk Cats.

She served as co-creator and Executive Producer of the hit television series Project Runway for sixteen seasons. Cha Cutler has received 14 Emmy and 12 Producers Guild nominations and is the recipient of the prestigious Peabody, GLAAD and Gracie Awards as well as a special New York Mayoral Proclamation.

Cha Cutler has also co-created and Executive Produced Project Runway Junior, Models of the Runway, and Threads, and has executive produced the television shows including HomeGrown Makeover, Now What?, Seriously Funny Kids, Stylista, FashionNation, and NYC Fashion Week TV.

At her former company, as the President of Production for Full Picture, Inc., Cha Cutler spent eighteen years focused on television and digital development and production, working closely with Full Picture’s public relations, artist management and branding divisions. She partnered with top designers, editors and brand ambassadors and created collaborations with the likes of Michelle Obama, Google, and designers Christian Siriano and Zac Posen. These included a special limited-edition collection under the auspices of First Lady Michelle Obama’s Let Girls Learn Peace Corps initiative; a first of its kind runway show with custom-coded garments in collaboration with Google’s Made with Code; and an ‘eventized’ virtual reality Fashion Week finale.

Cha Cutler has worked closely with some of the fashion industry’s top models and brands. She was a key figure in the development of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show for television. She also produced fashion shows worldwide, including the centerpiece for a California Trade Mission to China, which aired on China’s CCTV. 

Cha Cutler’s work in new media and streaming production included serving as co-creator and executive producer of the YouTube channel, LOOK.TV in partnership with Bedrock Ventures, as well as supermodel Heidi Klum’s digital network with award-winning verticals in Fashion, Beauty, Wellness and Relationships. She was also one of the founders of Modelinia, a fashion and content portal presented from the POV of top models and industry influencers. This content won awards including the W3 sanctioned by the International Academy of the Visual Arts. Cha Cutler has also worked on a wide array of digital content for high profile talent and influencers including Zendaya and K-pop stars.

In the world of virtual reality, Cha Cutler served as special projects consultant with South Korean conglomerate SK Group, where she helped US-launch and explore VR opportunities for such apps as StyleTag, Chat Frankly and SK Minute. Her VR project Manic Maze is a collaboration with pioneering VR company Emblematic and VR producer Nonny de la Pena.

Cha Cutler is Co-Chair of the Entertainment Leadership Council at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the LA Task Committee of Direct Relief and the 2020 recipient of the Big Brothers, Big Sisters Sherry Lansing Award.

Prior to the founding of Full Picture, Cha Cutler held positions at Rogers & Cowan, Entertainment Tonight and ABC. While studying Government at Harvard University, she worked on numerous political campaigns. Cha Cutler lives in Los Angeles with her husband, R.J. Cutler and 3 children.
