Award-winning filmmaker R.J. Cutler has spent over three decades crafting incisive documentaries, often observing high profile individuals in their high-pressure environments. His latest work, the Netflix Original Martha, is the definitive documentary on Martha Stewart that traces her rise from teenage model to her reign as the original influencer and America’s first self-made female billionaire. In celebration of Martha’s two Emmy nominations, the Paris Theater is proud to present MARTHA, BILLIE and ANNA: Portraits by R.J. Cutler. These three films profile extraordinary women who have achieved greatness in their respective fields, yet Cutler is still able to ground their outsized personalities by showing their human side.

On August 12, we’ll have a special 35mm screening of The September Issue, which chronicles the most stressful time of year for Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. The September Issue will be introduced by former Vogue Creative Director Grace Coddington.  That screening will be followed by Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry, an intimate look at the singer-songwriter's journey on the road, onstage, and at home with her family as the writing and recording of her debut album changes her life— and the world of popular music.

The series will conclude on August 13 with a special screening of Martha, followed by a conversation with director R.J. Cutler.
